The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

"So where exactly from here are you,' the female rainbow face asked sam.

----------

"Well that would be telling wouldn't it,' sam replied smiling.

Pangaea nodded and gave Amy a friendly smile in return. "Thanks! Uh...I mean, you're welcome! Er...thank you for the thank you!" he said, deliberately quoting Ruby. "Pardon me; I always get my expressions of gratitude mixed up." He shrugged.

He then turned to Guido. "Come on, Guido," he said, turning to leave.

Guido gave Amy and Pterano a shy but friendly grin and a wave, before following Pangaea.

"Nice to meet you, Amy! You too, Pterano!" Pangaea called back as he and Guido ran off in the direction Spike, Anna, and Ducky had gone.

--------------------------------------------------

"Uh..." Screech stammered, recoiling apprehensively beneath Red Claw's huge shadow, "Could you explain it to me again?" Not wanting the sharptooth to be angry with him for not listening, he quickly added, "I was distracted trying to think of something we could do to help your eyes."

Chronicler was amazed at how quickly Ruby learned how to write and read. Okay, so it wasn't with the English alphabet, but she was okay with that. Ruby found it quite exciting to be able to communicate so clearly without having to speak. She was especially impressed, as well as Chronicler, when she was able to write her own name:

Rick chuckled for a moment at Belmont's response.
"Truer words have never been spoken. Come on...let's go find him." He said with a bright smile.

"BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRP!" Anna belched before she put a clawed hand over her mouth.  "'Scuse me!"  Ducky could not help but crack up in response, which surprised Anna.

"Haha!  That was good, yep yep yep!" Ducky hooted while she laughed.

"What the?!  Ya mean that was not gross to ya?" asked Anna.

"When you have a brother like Spike around, things like that become funny instead of gross, yes they do!" replied Ducky.  Just then, Anna gestured for Ducky to be quiet.

"Shh!  Ya hear that?" whispered Anna in an uneasy fashion.

"Hear what?" Ducky whispered nervously.

"We've got company," Anna whispered back as she got up and snapped a branch off of the tree she had gotten the treestars from.

"Who?" asked Ducky as she looked around.  "How did you hear this 'company'?"

"My hearing is extremely sharp," Anna replied.

"How about your sniffer?  Does it work?" asked Ducky.  Anna inhaled deeply a couple of times, then nodded.

"Yup, and it's not just any company.  It smells like...a fastbiter," Anna whispered as she turned in the direction Myrkin had been watching them from.

"Oh, no.  I do not like fastbiters, no no no," Ducky gulped out of fear as she tightly held Spike's left front leg.

"I dunno 'bout y'all, but I really don't like surprises," Anna whispered as she kept looking for signs of the fastbiter, the branch held in her tightly fisted right hand.

Spike suddenly realizing there was a problem stood protectively in front of Ducky hoping that whatever was nearby wouldn't try to hurt his sister. he then grumbled aloud as if saying 'I'll protect you ducky'

~~~
Rick had taken several steps into the surrounding forest, just for a moment to see what spots he could recognize on his own and hoped Belmont had followed him. Suddenly something made him stop walking...it felt odd...like he was being watched...and it made him uneasy. Rick reflectively swung his tail back and forth not sure what to expect, but figuring it couldn't be good.
"Do you feel like we're being watched Belmont?" he asked quietly.
"Watched by me, perhaps?" Thomas said, emerging from a stade of nearby trees. "Sorry for the sneaking around..."
Red Claw grinned deviously and replied, "Well some stupid female flyer blinded me for life. My eyes are torn up, I can't see a thing at all. At least my sniffer still works and everything else. So we need to take revenge out on that flyer and anyone else in our path. Your job is to help Thud fight and kill the young ones. I just love tender meat." He licks his lips at this statement. "I'm going to distract the adults, so they don't have an idea that their children will be taken and served as breakfast."
--------------------------
Amy looked at Pterano full of compassion and concern and asked, "Are you going to be okay now?"
-----------------------
Mr. Three Horn drank a bit of water and thought, I wonder where my family is?
He stopped drinking and walked away, trying to sniff them out. There was just plants, then he tried again, in a different area, then he went to his own nest where his fam would be.
"Nope, not here either..." He spoke to himself.
Then, he smelled something that made him stand still and make his eyes turn red. He smelled his family alright, but he smelled something that he knew did not belong in the valley...AND was a not friendly in the least bit.
Meanwhile, Cera and Tricia finally decided to find Anna, Ducky, and Spike.
"I'm glad Daddy likes her," Cera finally said to her little sister.  Tricia giggled and nodded in agreement.  Just then, Cera stopped dead in her tracks.  Tricia did the same thing.
"Do you feel that, Tricia?  I don't think we're alone," Cera whispered as she looked at her surroundings.  Tricia's expression became fearful as she moved in closer to Cera.  Cera lifted her head high and sniffed the air.  She did not like what she was smelling.
"Something's not right here.  Stay with me, sis," Cera ordered as they continued walking.  She was able to pick up the scents of Anna, Ducky, and Spike, so she followed them.  She still kept her mind on that other scent she had picked up.  She knew that whatever it was not only ate meat, but was also not a resident of the Great Valley.
Tria quickly found her daughter... she had smelled something too. "Stay close to me kids... I don't like this..."
Screech grinned wickedly. “Sounds good to me,” he hissed. “I’ll go after that fast runner.” He turned to Thud. "Once she's been done in, there'll be no one to protect the little biter. You can take him, Thud. I believe the two of you have a score to settle." Screech had never learned exactly what events had transpired on that ledge, but he could only assume it had been humiliating for Thud to be stuck there while the little sharptooth and his swimmer companion got away unscathed.
Screech looked back up at Red Claw. "One question, though. How are you going to distract the adult leafeaters when you can't see them? With respect, Red Claw, it sounds like quite a risk."
"Have you seen much of the Great Valley yet?" Grandpa Longneck asked Flapper.
"Not to much yet." Flapper said relaxing and looking around to see if Threehorn was around or not.
"Me can show you around." Petrie said, happy to show the new flyer around.
Spike? Did the little swimmer really say that name? Myrkin asked himself. Yes, she did, but if she called spiketail 'Spike' and said that he is her brother, then she must be... Ducky? And this world had to be universe of Land Before Time!
"The weird is getting weirder" he muttered quietly. He didn't know if he should be more shocked by the fact, that LBT dinosaurs really existed (at least in this place) or that he had a chance to meet them? At one point he noticed that dinosaurs had somehow become aware of his presence. Myrkin decided to walk out and talk with them. After all, what he had to lose? His life, sure, but if he behave right they may not attack him right away and maybe they will accept him to the Valley like... like Chomper. The problem was, Chomper at least was cute, which probably had given him an advantage in convincing others that he is indeed a friendly sharptooth, while Myrkin... He looked at his fastbiter's body. Well... He might be called anything but cute at the moment...
"Hello? I am fastbiter, but don't be afraid! I am not here to cause trouble." Myrkin shouted from his hiding spot, "Er... I am coming out!" He slowly walked out of the bush.
"It appears some of the others are getting uneasy about something." Grandpa Longneck said while he was looking around at what some of the others were doing.
Rick was still on edge, and he couldn't tell why! It was kinda driving him crazy as he shouted aloud, "Come out you coward!" to the air around him.
However he sure wasn't expecting an answer as a flyer flapped down out of the trees.
"Geez, you're kinda jumpy for a longneck aren't ya?" asked the flyer.
Rick blinked several times, and then gasped as he realized who he was staring at!
"E-excuse me....but your name wouldn't happen...t-to be Longtail would it?" he asked quietly
The flyer narrowed his eyes and asked in reply, "Who wants to know...are you two here to make trouble?" as he looked to both Rick and Belmont.
Anna looked in the direction Myrkin's voice came from as Ducky huddled in even closer to her brother.  Anna had heard everything Myrkin said, but she still held onto the tree branch just to be safe.
"So, you're not here to cause trouble, eh?  Then tell us, what business do ya have bein' in the Great Valley?" Anna asked as she watched the fastbiter cautiously.
Somehow Zaine had mostly slept through the commotion, and considering Mr. Threehorn he was very surprised as well. But eventually he had left his nest and went about his daily routine. "I wonder why Cera's dad went all crazier than usual. Oh well. At least I'm not in trouble or anything." He then found a bush and started chewing off treestars.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, in an alternate universe, a young boy of about 18 was sitting at his laptop on a forum called GOF. The boy's name was Rob and he had been a member of the GOF for a year and a half. To his surprise though, the activity on the board was kind of slow. "I wonder why I don't see any of the other members on," he asked himself. "This can't be just some mere coincidence." His college roommate had left to go to a party, but Rob was never into the drinking parties anyway. Secretly, Rob has always loved Land Before Time ever since he was young. His parents always got him the movies and he spent hours watching them. He joined the GOF as a way of expressing his passion with others, considering his real life friends would not understand. After waiting for somebody to get on, Rob finally decided to log off. "I guess nobody's on tonight. Maybe later I'll go back on." Rob went to switch his laptop off but then something happened. The screen changed from the usual desktop to a bright multicolor light. "What the heck?" Rob tried pushing the power button numerous times but nothing happened. The colors kept changing and emitting bright light. Rob grabbed the top of the screen to try and close it when his thumb passed through the screen. Rob jerked back his hand that instant. "What the?" Rob slowly inched his hand forward until it was submerged in the screen. The light felt warm around his hand, and his eyes widened with astonishment. "Oh my god." Then suddenly a powerful force started sucking Rob's arm in. He grabbed the edge of his desk and tried pulling his arm out, but it was no use. His arm sank deeper and deeper into the screen until his whole entire body was sucked in.
