The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Mr. Three Horn gapped at the sight of the fast biters down and out, and the white fast runner looking like a hero. He was a bit disappointed that he never could beat up any sharpteeth, but at least the danger was over.

"Alright, let's get em out!" He roared and dragged Thud and Screech on his back and he responded, "Here, let's go this way and throw em out here," he pointed his nose to where the fruit trees were and he walked away to it.

Pangaea marveled at how sensitive his Microraptor eyes were in the dark. Even with the moon (or “night circle”, as he reminded himself he’d have to call it) providing the only light, he could see nearly as well as he could during the day. So finding his way around the Great Valley at night was a surprisingly easy task.

“I think Ducky’s nest is this way,” Guido told Pangaea as he walked ahead of him.

But it turned out that they didn’t need to go that far to find the little swimmer. Instead they discovered heróalong with Cera and Triciaólying beside the same adult swimmer Pangaea had seen her with earlier. Annaóif Pangaea’s memory served, that was the swimmer’s nameóhad her tail curled around the three youngsters, all of whom were soundly asleep.

Now that’s just adorable, Pangaea thought, smiling at the sight. Not wanting to wake the children, he called softly to Anna.

“Psst!” he whispered, “Is it okay if Guido and I sleep over here?” He pointed to the ground at the base of a tree across from the sleeping group. “We were hoping to talk with you in the morning.”

Amy waited for Sam to follow her, and while she was, she felt the cold air blowing gently in her face and she shivered, so she made herself smaller then she really was by hunching her shoulders and wrapping her wings around herself.
---------------
Red Claw shifted and rolled on his back. He had a feeling something wasn't right, so he got himself up and tried to smell everything around him. He walked a little away from the watering hole and then he heard a tree branch snap...

He quickly fastened his mind on whatever was coming this way. He smelt a young longneck going his way. The rainbow face obviously didn't know Red Claw was there, so Red Claw, carefully trying to use his other senses for hunting, jumped from where he was and tried to land on the young longneck, but he heard the young longneck yell and ran away, so Red Claw ended up landing face down on the Earth.

He swore a bunch of very vulgar words in sharptooth tongue, angered that he could catch even a creature smaller then him. He was so proud...and so stupid...

Rick and Longtail stopped sparring as they heard Belmont speaking.

"Sure! The more fighters the better the winner can feel!" said Longtail with a sly grin on his face.

"Don't get too cocky kid...you still haven't beaten me yet...and one more is only going to make it harder!" said Rick as he took another Tai-chi stance. "Bring it on Belmont." he said with a smile.

Grandma Longneck nuzzled her grandson back and whispered "You're welcome Littlefoot." she asked just making sure Littlefoot was indeed alright.

Chronicler yawned. He then said to Mr. Threehorn, "Sorry, I haven't had much sleep for a while. You go ahead, I really need some rest."

"Here, let me take you back to the cave so you won't get lost," said Ruby.

"Thanks, Ruby. It'll probably be many days until I know my way around this valley enough to go anywhere on my own." They then began heading back to Ruby's cave.

Claw scowled noticeably, as he couldn't help to feel ignored. After all, he helped in fight a bit, but Chronicler and Ruby didn't seem to care to acknowledge that or at least ask if he don't need anything.

"Oh, our 'hero' needs a rest or he won't have a strenght to save us the next time some sharpteeth decide to invade the Valley" he said sarcastically, loud enough for fastrunners to hear him "Maybe I should carry him?" he asked. Then he turned to Ruby and said (much more politely):

"It looks like I am going to stay here for awhile. Could you show me some cave I could live in? I don't need much, just some ceiling over my head, so I won't get wet by Sky Water. I would really appreciate your help."

Anna opened one eye when she heard Pangaea's voice softly call out to her.  She then lifted her head and saw Guido as well.

"Uh, sure.  That's okay with me.  After all, there's safety in numbers," Anna whispered so she would not disturb the children.

“Thanks,” Pangaea whispered, feeling a little bad for having woken Anna up. (He had thought that she was still awakeóperhaps his night vision wasn’t nearly as good as he had thought.)

“C’mon, Guido,” he whispered, “find a sleeping spot.”

Guido nodded, and ran off to look for a vine with which to “anchor” himself so that he didn’t walk off in his sleep. Pangaea, meanwhile, realized that he wasn’t entirely sure what was his natural sleeping position now that he was a Microraptor. He considered climbing a tree and perching like a bird, but discounted that option as he found, by flexing his toes, that his feet lacked the necessary muscular structure to lock in place around a perch. He also remembered from the twelfth LBT film that Guido appeared to have no problem lying down to sleep.

Not wanting to sleep on the bare ground, Pangaea began assembling a makeshift bed by scraping fallen leaves together into a pile. He made sure to use leaves that looked freshly fallen and had not yet dried up; he couldn’t abide a scratchy mattress. Eventually he had a substantial mound of soft green foliage accumulated at the base of a tree.

Pangaea surveyed his work, and frowned nervously. It looked suspiciously similar to one of the giant piles of green food the gang frequently ate from. Not surprising, considering that’s basically what it was. I hope Spike doesn’t come along and take a bite while I’m sleeping in it, he thought, sighing nervously.

At that moment, Guido returned, a long, slender vine looped around his shoulder. His eyes goggled at the sight of Pangaea’s leaf pile, which to him looked for all the world like a midnight snack for a leafeater.

“What’s that?” he asked, “I thought you couldn’t eat green stuff.”

“No, it’s a bed,” Pangaea replied, “I don’t know why, but it seems I can never fall asleep unless I’ve got something covering me. I guess I find the pressure relaxing.” With that he walked around to the back of the pile of leaves, and burrowed into it, poking his head out from the side facing away from the tree.

While the concept of a covered bed was strange to Guido, he appeared intrigued by it. “Actually, that looks kind of comfy,” he said, “Do you mind if I...uh...sort of...rest my head on it while I’m sleeping?”

“Suit yourself,” Pangaea replied, “Just...if you can, try not to touch me. Nothing personal; I just like to have my space when I sleep. I’ve pretty much had a bed to myself my entire life.”

Guido nodded in agreement. He then took the vine he was carrying, looped one end around the nearby tree, and tied the other end around his foot. “There!” he said when he was finished, “Won’t be sleepwalking anywhere tonight.”

Guido lay down beside Pangaea’s leaf pile, leaning his head and shoulders up against it like a pillow. “’Night, Pangaea,” he said.

“G’night, Guido,” Pangaea responded.

Perhaps all the shocking and strenuous events of the day had made Pangaea more tired than he had realized, but despite having so many things on his mind, he drifted off to sleep far more quickly than usual.

Chronicler could easily tell that the friendly Fast-Biter traveling with them was annoyed by something, but he was too tired to bother worrying about it. He then replied to the Fast-Biter's question, "No thank you, I'm fine. I'm tired, but I'm not exhausted to the point of collapsing right here."

Ruby replied to Claw's question, "You can sleep in my cave if you want to. I wouldn't mind it. I'm sure Chronicler and Chomper wouldn't mind either." Before Chronicler could say anything, Ruby suddenly realized something. "Oh no! Chomper! I forgot all about him! We have to find him!"

"Maybe he's waiting for us back at the cave. I did suggest that maybe he was running late today," said Chronicler.

"Good thinking, Chronicler. I guess the best place to find Chomper would be to go to where Chomper would go." Ruby then began to quickly head back to the cave.

As he began to follow her, Chronicler sighed and quietly said to himself, "Everybody here panics too easily."

"Don't expect me to go easy on you" John said before going into a fighting stance and attacking Rick with a roundhouse kick...

Rick leaned his body backwards and threw his right arm forward deflecting Belmonts roundhouse kick easily. He then used his left hand to try and push Belmont to the ground.

Longtail seeing an opportunity jumped forward lashing his tail out at Rick and trying to bite at Belmont.

Rick laughed as he just barely ducked under Longtail's attack. He then rotated his body and using his left foot caught Longtail in the belly, knocking him to the ground.

Longtail blinked as he shook himself off.
"Oh you are paying for that Rick!" he said with a wide smile as he charged at Rick and Belmont again.

~~~
Grandma Longneck looked around and commented, "Since the sharpteeth left, it has become rather quiet around here. Even after a fight this valley still calms me down. I am glad to live here." she then looked down to her grandson and asked, "Aren't you glad to live here Littlefoot?"
John avoided Rick's left hand and pulled off a jump spin cresent kick, after landing he bowed(karate style) before going back into his fighting stance and just by a longshot, caught Longtail and and threw him at Rick.
Amy still felt frozen, so she replied in a quivering voice, "Yeah....it sure was...." She thought over how she couldn't help but think it was all her fault. If she didn't scratch Red Claw to blind him, he would have not come into the valley and no one in the valley would have been hurt. She also knew though that Red Claw probably would try to fight against the dinosaurs anyway, looking at the history of him and the dinosaurs.
So she limped away, having Sam close behind and she went into the clearing to see Grandma and Grandpa Longneck, Little Foot, Tria, Anna, Pangaea, Cera, Ducky, Tricia, and Guido all huddled together.
She approached the longnecks and spoke, not realizing how loud her noise was, "Is everyone alright?"
-------------------
Mr. Three Horn simply threw the dinosaurs off his back through the fruit trees and then he came to the fast runners and the fast biter, "Well, last time I saw Chomper, he was off with that other black sharptooth. Anyhow, I have to get back to my family. Rest up you three." He said, and with that, he ran off. He didn't even notice "Thomas" who obviously was there looking at the scene and everything that was going on.
I know that flyer....that fangirl...was part of this...and Pterano...he could have been on it too... He though angrily.
He came into the clearing and then he saw the longnecks, his family and a few others. He saw that his children were sleeping so he came to them and nuzzled Tria, "The sharpteeth are gone, we can head back to the nest." He smiled. Then he saw the cream and dark brown flyer with the corner of his eye. His eyes drilled into the flyer, wondering what information DID she know, but he decided to talk to her later...and give her a piece of his mind...
---------------
Rebecca saw Amy and she whispered a "hello". Amy wondered why everyone was talking in a soft voice, but then she realized looking at the way Mr. Three Horn was she saw the kids sleeping. She then automatically understood.
Anna was still awake when she saw Mr. Threehorn return.  She could not fall back asleep with all of the whispering voices and movements around her, so she had stayed awake since Pangaea and Guido had shown up.
"Hey," Anna whispered to Mr. Threehorn.  "Would ya like me to wake your kids up so they can go home with the two of ya?"
Mr. Three Horn nodded, "Yes, I think the girls and I should be heading back to our nest." He smiled at Anna and said, "Thank you for looking after my daughters. I don't know how I could ever repay you."
-----------
Amy gave a puzzled a expression to Sam, she whispered so no one else would hear, "How do you know about what I did?"
----------
In response to his grandmother's question, Little Foot, said, "I am Grandma." He then saw Amy who spoke casually when she came to them. He yawned looking up at the stars, it was almost the next morning he knew.
I guess I will sleep tomorrow in the morning...I'm so tired....
"Think nothin' of it," Anna replied in response to Mr. Threehorn's talk of repaying her.  She then gently shook Cera and Tricia.  Cera was the first to wake.  She let out a big yawn as she stretched her front legs out in front of her.
"What's the big deal, Anna?  It's still nightfall," Cera groaned in a groggy fashion.  Anna chuckled as she shook her head in amusement.
"Cera, your folks are here to take ya home," Anna said quietly, not wanting to wake up Ducky.
"Really?  C'mon, Tricia," Cera said as she nuzzled her little sister.  Tricia woke up and let out a sleepy yawn.  Just then, she spotted her father.  Tricia giggled in excitement as she jumped up, ran over to her father, and nuzzled his leg.
"Thanks, Anna.  Perhaps I'll see you later," Cera said as she followed Tricia.
"No prob.  I'm sure I'll see ya later," Anna replied just before she glanced down at Ducky.  Anna was starting to wonder where Ducky's mother was.
Longtail gasped as he felt himself collide with Rick throwing both of them to the ground.
"Nice move Belmont!" said Rick with a humble laugh.
Longtail however grinned as he lashed out with his tail again trying to strike Belmont.
Screech awoke with a splitting headache. The last thing he remembered was looking for that white fast runner in that dead-end cave; then he had felt something grab his head and slam it into something, and then everything had gone dark. Sniffing the air (and instantly regretting it), Screech realized that someone had taken him and Thud to the canyon with those malodorous treesweet trees. To his greater frustration, he realized that not only had he and Thud failed to retrieve the brown flyer (Amy) Red Claw had assigned them to capture, but had been unable to achieve revenge on either that white fast runner (Chronicler) or that bizarre red gliding creature (Pangaea).
Suddenly Screech remembered that Red Claw had long ago given the call to retreat, but neither he nor Thud had heeded it. He realized that the blind sharptooth must by now have left the valley, and be out wandering alone in the Mysterious Beyond without anyone to guide him. While Screech and Thud’s comradery for Red Claw was primarily based on their shared desire to keep their stomachs full, and Screech knew that Red Claw’s hunting prowess would probably be lessened somewhat now that he was blind, he figured that the big sharptooth would still be a capable predatoróprovided he knew where his prey wasóand that he was still the fast biters’ best chance of acquiring a substantial meal.
Even now, Screech could hear his stomach growling almost as ferociously as he could. He had gone for longer periods without food before, but had expended so much energy in the past few hours that his hunger was becoming unbearable. He looked over at Thud, who still lay unconscious on the ground nearby.
Thud!” Screech growled desperately, “Wake up! We have to find Red Claw!
