The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

"I only said it was for a midnight snack," replied Chomper. "Just take only what you need so you're not starving. I'll show you some better places to find food in the morning."

Grandpa Longneck nodded, "Just don't stay up to late, and if you're not careful you may get lost since you've not been here to long." Grandpa Longneck said to Rick.

"Ah... yes... I can remember you were saying something like that." Claw said grinning, eating a few more buzzers "Alright. Since we had a midnight snack, we can go back to the cave and have a midnight sleep. Okay?"

Sam opened his eyes. "Well I guess I better get something to eat,' he said to himself as he got a treestar from the tree above him.

"Good idea," said Chomper. Since Claw was new here, Chomper figured that he should help show him the way back to the cave. Once they got back to the cave, they quietly walked to Chomper's part of the cave. Chomper then lied down in his sleeping spot and said goodnight to Claw before falling asleep.

Belmont had finally got back to the cave he was staying in then he laid down to rest "what a day and what a night" Belmont thought as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Ali walked through her herd and went to her mother and laid down she was playing with some of the other kids that were members of the herd, Ali yawned then she closed her eyes.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Shorty had just arrived at Bron's herd, Bron walked up to his adoptive son  "Shorty, its late" Bron told him "I know" Shorty replied so they each laid down and rested, waiting for the next day to come.

Screech tore ravenously into the dead threehorn, gobbling down meat at a rate that not even Red Claw could match. He didn’t stop until a pain in his stomach told him that he had filled it to its limits. Satiated, and feeling much better because of it, he looked up at Red Claw with sincere gratitude. “Thank you,” he said, “You have given me reason to maintain my allegiance with you. Now, if I may make a suggestion, why don’t we sleep right here, beside the kill? We can eat from it again when we awake.” Truthfully, Screech didn’t feel like traveling any further; he had gorged himself to the extent that he was feeling too lethargic to move, and wanted to sleep it off right here and now.

Rick smiled and nodded to Grandpa Longneck and said, "Thank you for the warning, but I think I'll be alright." He then smiled at Littlefoot and yawned. "Well goodnight everyone, I promise I won't stay up too late." He then stepped past the elderly longnecks and stepped towards an open clearing now feeling far too tired to go exploring and simply settled down on the floor and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

Grandma Longneck kept an eye on Littlefoot just to make sure he was okay. "Are you alright little one?" she asked gently

Red Claw smiled and with his far off look he replied, "Good idea, why go away from our prey?" So Red Claw tore up some meat and listened to the sounds of his fellow commrades falling eating their share and falling asleep.

It felt good eating real flesh again. So then after his full, Red Claw rested by the kill and fell asleep.

Little Foot yawned and said, "Yeah, I'll be okay Grandma." He smiled a tired smile.

Rebecca looked at Pterano earnestly and said, "Well, you can decide if you want to come with me and see your nephews and nieces or not, I can't keep the kids waiting. Some just won't sleep without me there." She was a bit frustrated with the delay of response from Pterano and his friend, but she just allowed the door wide open for them to join her with her kids.

So she flew away and saw some her kids asleep, but one of her daughters was shaking. So she nuzzled her daughter and said, "Hey it's okay, I'm here, no one is going to hurt you." Her daughter hugged her and tears streamed down her cheek.

"I thought you would be dead mom." She looked up at Rebecca. Rebecca replied, "Well I'm here now, and the danger is gone, so don't worry. I'll tell you and your brothers and sisters in the morning."

She allowed her daughter to sleep next to her and she whispered good night to all of her children, even though they couldn't hear her.

She then closed her eyes and was able to sleep.

"Goodnight, Chomper." Claw said, trying to lie down as comfortable as he could. Even though he was quite tired, he couldn't fall asleep right away, which was always hard for him. Now, when he had been moved into this world it was that much more difficult, so decided to use that time to think about his situation properly...

I know this world, this whole thing I am in, is real. he thought This or my mind is playing tricks on me... But... If this is real, then how did I get here? And why am I here? What is more, I might not be the only human here. After all, what are the chances that some dinosaurs have names like some people I know from GOF forum? No... This cannot be a coincidence and there must be some reason for our being here, but what it could be? Hmm... It's pointless to ponder about this thing now. I will found out what my purpose is or, if there is none, I will make my own. I am definitely not going to stay in the Valley for the rest of my life, doing nothing but sleep and eat. With that thought he finally dropped off.

Screech breathed a contented sigh, now thankful for both his full stomach and the fact that Red Claw had agreed with him on something. Walking a few yards from the remains of the threehorn carcass, he unceremoniously flopped down to the ground, and moments later was uttering raspy fast biter sleep rumbles.

Grandpa Longneck looked at his mate and grandson.  "Both of you ready to go to sleep?" he asked them smiling a bit, a bit tired himself.

"Thomas" rested in a cave at the edge of the great wall of mountains surrounding the valley. Deeper in the valley, Tria slept with her child and stepchild, while Pterano rested in a tree.

Things would pick up again tomorrow, all three of them knew that...

Grandma Longneck would have answered Littlefoot if she hadn't already been asleep dreaming of better days and peaceful places.

~~~
Rick was sleeping quietly as well dreaming about the next day he would have here in the valley.
Little Foot yawned and said, "Ok Grandpa." So he slid down his grandmother's back and rested next to her. He tucked his tail and tried to sleep. "Good night grandpa." He whispered to his grandfather. "Good night grandma." He whispered even softer, trying to not wake her up.
(Hey Sam! It's a good time for you to settle Thud down, so everyone can start up again for morning here. :yes )
