The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Mr. Three Horn snorted, "Well...at least we agree on THAT!" He stalled for a moment and said, "Now I'll try to rally up everyone for a meeting. We should meet in our circle where we usually have meetings." Then with a nod, he ran the other way to find the others to get a meeting together.

Rebecca saw a patch of gray below her and thought, What is that big, gray three horn face up to now? She thought as she looked down at him. She sighed and asked as she flew beside him.

"What's going on?"

Mr. Three Horn said, "I'm rallying up everyone to have a meeting about last night."

Rebecca smiled, she thought that was the most sensible thing Mr. Three Horn has said...for well....ever. So she said, "Alright, I'll wake some of the others up."

She went to her brother and nudged him. "Pterano, we're going to have a meeting soon. The whole valley. I really think you should come."

Mr. Three Horn brayed and hollered trying to wake everyone up and get up to have a meeting.

He saw some figures slowly walking towards him, obediently going to a meeting.

Amy also heard the braying and said, "Guys, that sounded like Mr. Three Horn."

Chomper was not very much surprised that Claw turned to be a human in dinosaur body, as it explained many things like his lack of knowledge about fishing or his usage of strange word. Chomper wondered only about why Claw was hiding this fact from him before. Did he not trust him or did he thoutg that he won't believe him? Perhaps it was the latter. Anyway, they might have time to talk about this after the breakfast...

"So... Claw. Do you still want me to teach you how to catch fish?" Chomper asked. The fastbiter glanced at him with some hesitancy. He wanted to stay with the group and get to know other members of GoF who had ended in this world, but then again he was hungry... Eventually, the hunger won.

"Yes, I want." Claw said, following Chomper to the edge of waterhole.

Belmont continued to walk through the valley but then he saw Cera,Littlefoot,Ali and some others in the distance, Belmont ran up to their position as soon as he heard "Gang Of Five" again, once he got there he looked at the flyer and said "I'm stunned there are GOF members all over the Great Valley now besides me" Belmont said while panting.

Pangaea’s sensitive ears picked up the sound of conversation from afar. He couldn’t understand what was being said (his hearing was strong, but not very clear), but he thought that perhaps one of the individuals he was looking for might be among those talking, and decided to head in the direction of the chatter. The trouble was, he wasn’t very good at orienting on sound.

“Uh, Guido?” he said, “Where’s that talking coming from?”

“This way,” Guido replied, leading him onwards.

Just then, Anna's radar-like hearing caught onto Mr. Threehorn's noises.  She grumbled in irritation.  Anna was not a morning person, and had it not been for Ducky, she probably would still be sleeping.  Back at home, she only got up before 8 AM to take care of her pets, go to school, or go to work.  On the rare days she did not have to be anywhere early, she'd just go back to bed, curl up with her two Cocker Spaniels, and drift back off to sleep.  If Anna was ever awakened by noise or some other annoying wake-up call, she would feel pretty grouchy for some time after waking up.  This being the case, Anna was not at all thrilled to hear Mr. Threehorn cutting up so early.

"Ugh, can't he put a treesweet in it?!  It's so freakin' early!" Anna grumbled.  Cera seemed to take offense to that statement.

"Don't talk about my father that way!" Cera yelled.

"I don't mean any offense, Cera, but doesn't anybody get fed up with him runnin' his mouth so early in the mornin'?  Besides, what's he up to anyway?" Anna asked.

"He's calling for a meeting," Cera answered.

"Good grief!  What is so important that needs to be discussed right now?  Does it have anything to do with the sharptooth attack from last night?" Anna asked.

"I'm sure it does," Cera replied.  "Maybe it will involve the bunch of you newcomers."

"If that's the case, and your father's runnin' this meeting, then I've got a pretty bad feelin' it ain't gonna be good at all," Anna said.

"Well, if it's bad, maybe we can talk him out of whatever crazy bad idea he has," Cera suggested.

"I hope you're right, for our sake," Anna replied.

The braying was heard again from Mr. Three Horn yelling, "C'mon everyone! Meeting today!"

Amy said, "Well, we might as well go and see what's going on. It seems in important the fact that he's still yelling for dinosaurs to come."

Little Foot sighed, "I guess so. I know he said something about having a meeting to see how the sharpteeth came in. Me and Alli left before we could hear anything else."

Little Foot didn't want to tell them that he actually heard Mr. Three Horn saying that if it meant kicking the newcomers out for the safety of the way, so be it. He didn't want to be the one say it to them.
----------------
Red Claw asked to Screech, "Hey Screech are you still there?" He just wondered if Screech was still around, since he already know Thud was around.
------------
Rebecca waited for Pterano's response as she tried to wake him up.

"This had better be good, and if he tries to pull anything funny on us, the little hellraiser in me is gonna raise some hell this mornin'," Anna spoke up.  Cera, Tricia, and Ducky were unsure of what "hellraiser" and "hell" meant, but they seemed to get the idea as they silently nodded in acknowledgement.

Claw was trying to catch his meal, half-listening to conversation others had. Since he was a beginner hunter, it took several failed attempts and Chomper's hints on what he was doing wrong, before the fastbiter could catch anything. Eventually, Claw got one fish and luckily it was enough to feed his hunder for time being and as Chomper had his own breakfast already, they could get back to the group...

"Could you stop acting like that, Anna?" Claw asked with irritation "It won't help anyone if you keep that 'We have every right to be here, so this threehorn better watch what he is doing or will make him pay for saying anything wrong about us' attitude. Or are you planing on getting into a great argument with Mr. Threehorn, just because he might not like us or even wants us out? While I don't want that last one to happen either, I know that 'raising hell' is not a right way to talk him or anyone else out of it."

Pangaea jumped and covered his ears at the sound of Mr. Threehorn’s calls. “Ow...” he muttered, “What the heck is that?”

“Uh...sounds like Cera’s dad,” Guido said a little nervously, “I think he’s calling everyone to the Rock Circle.”

“Oh, great,” Pangaea groaned, “Don’t tell me he’s got another bone to pick with somebody here!”

Guido looked confused. “Um...I don’t see why he’d want to pick anyone’s bones,” he said, “He’s a threehorn, not a sharptooth.”

“No, it’s an...oh, never mind.” Pangaea stifled a small laugh. He made a mental note to be careful about using human expressions around the dinosaurs (though he guessed that he’d probably later forget it).

“Well, I guess we better go to the meeting, too,” Pangaea sighed. “Do you know how to get to the Rock Circle from here?”

Guido nodded. “Oh, sure,” he said, “Right this way.”

Mim stood up and looked in the direction of where Threehorn's voice was coming from.  "I wonder what mischief he is up to this time." She said to herself.  Then she stood up to head in the direction where the meeting place was.

---- --- --

"You coming dear?" Grandpa Lngneck asked Grandma Longneck.

--

Petrie heard the call and decided to start looking for his friends and give up on finding his uncle.  He flew higher till he saw one fo them and flew in their direction.

--

Flapper was siting in the tree he was in and eating a tree sweet when he heard the call.  He looked around, having no idea where the meeting place was but saw a group of flyers heading somewhere and guessed they may be heading there.  He went higher up the tree then lept off, spreading his wings so he  could glide along.  He flew in spirals till he found a thermal to give him left and he followed them thinking that landing would not be easy, but may by watching them he could get some tips and land behind a tree or soemthing so they'd not see how clumsy he was at landing.

Chronicler had answered a few more of Ruby's questions by the time they arrived at the Smoking Mountain. "What type of rock are you looking for?" asked Ruby. "Maybe I can help you find it."

At first, Chronicler was uncertain how to answer that. He decided to stop being so mysterious and just describe it as best as he could. "Let's see... how to describe this... The type of rock I need is black, has a shiny surface, and might have some very sharp edges." The type of rock he was describing was obsidian, which if chipped in the right places would create a very sharp edge, making it a very effective tool (or weapon, if necessary).

Fortunately, they didn't have to search long to find it. Chronicler soon found what he thought was the perfect piece of obsidian for the task he needed. It was small enough that he could carry it, yet large enough that he could afford to make a few errors when he would work on it. He picked up the rock with both hands and said, "Alright, I've got what we came for, now let's get outta here."

They didn't get far from the Smoking Mountain when they heard Mr. Threehorn's call for a meeting. "What was that?" asked Chronicler.

"I think that was Cera's dad calling for a meeting," said Ruby. "We had better get going. The sooner we get there, the less likely we will be late."

"I don't like meetings. I prefer to stay at home all day."

"Why do you say that?"

Chronicler shrugged. "It's just who I am, I guess."

"I have a right to collect anything I want. It's just junk anyway."

Anna fell silent after Claw spoke to her.  Anna may have appeared like her normal self on the outside, but internally she felt like a raging whirlwind.  She knew she was becoming overloaded from being in a social situation, and even worse knew she would lose it sooner or later.  She hated the thought of herself and others being discriminated against or even falsely accused of things, and this made her further dread this meeting they were attending.  Anna had always been one to internalize anger, and even though she was trying in recent years not to internalize it so much, she still had to deal with sensory overload.  At this point, Anna felt like she could go somehwere alone where she could scream, cry, cuss, and throw or hit objects out of earshot.  There was nothing she feared more than unleashing her aggression onto others, especially those who had nothing to do with how she was feeling.  She was feeling offended by what Claw had said to her, for she knew they had just as much a right to be there as anyone else who did not cause any trouble.  However, he had a point.  The meeting had not even started and here she was expecting the worst.  Typical mentality of someone with an anxiety disorder.  Anna wanted to say something but did not, for she felt that if she said anything at that point, she would end up having a freakout.  Instead, she just took a deep breath as she scooped up Ducky, noticing her hands were somewhat shaky as she did that.  This was typical when she was upset about something.

Yes, Red Claw,” Screech called, “I’m still right here, next to the kill. Like I said, I’m not planning to go anywhere today unless you are.” He shook his head, tore a bone from the threehorn carcass, and started chewing on it. The big lug oughta get that oversized sniffer of his working, he thought. If he can’t smell me from there, how’s he gonna find his way around if we’re not with him all the time?

(OOC: Rat Lady: Hold on; how far has Red Claw gone from the threehorn carcass? :confused)

"well...its time to see what Mr.Threehorn has to complain about this time" Belmont muttered as he left the area Amy,Anna and some LBT characters were in,he was hoping that this meeting isn't just Cera's father going on about how the newcomers, which are the GOF members, should leave the valley, but as Belmont walked to the Rock Circle he realized that things may get out of hand.

(Panagea: Red Claw is drinking from a pond, which isn't far at all from the carcass. :) )

Amy felt the tension between everyone, and the anticipation of what was going to happen, so she said, "Guys," She looked sadly at Anna and then Claw. "Let's go, it's better if we go to that meeting and settle it once and for all so when we can just relax after." She wanted to relax after anyway, she was tense and frustrated with the things that were going on.

"Yeah, you're right Amy." Little Foot commented. "Alright, let's go." He commented. Amy slowly walked away from the group to follow Little Foot who was leading Alli, Cera, Spike, and his other friends away. It was strange not having the regular walking ability she had when she was a human. It was uncomfortable for her to run, let alone walk, so she took her time following.

Mr. Three Horn was certain that everyone was in the Rock Circle. Or almost everyone. He didn't see Any of his family there, so he brayed again to make sure that they were there.

"Is everyone here?" He shouted out.

Belmont arrived at the Rock circle, he stood near Shorty and Bron and across from Ali who shot him a slight grin "you too" Belmont whispered back nicely. It appeared Threehorn had rounded up every single dinosaur in the valley, even Ali's herd was here to see Threehorn give a few lectures and so was Ms.Maia who had the most sinister grin on her face,so Belmont waited for the meeting to begin...

As they approached the Rock Circle, Anna happened to notice Ms. Maia was present.  Anna felt bad enough about having to deal with Mr. Threehorn's irrationality, but when she saw Ms. Maia, she almost internally boiled over with rage.  She remembered how Ms. Maia had treated Ducky in the sixth film, and all her ill feelings toward Ms. Maia quickly resurfaced in her.

"Oh, aren't ya just the one I like to see at any time," Anna whispered under her breath so nobody else could hear her.  She forgot Ducky was sitting on her right shoulder.  Ducky looked up at Anna in a concerned manner when she heard Anna whisper to herself.

"Anna, are you okay?" Ducky quietly asked.

"No, but I can't talk right now 'cuz I might seriously offend someone," Anna whispered back so only Ducky could hear her.  Ducky quietly nodded, then gently patted Anna's shoulder.  Anna smiled as best as she could, but her internal rage consumed her.  She felt she would about lose it when she noticed Ms. Maia's sinister grin.

How I'd like to come over there and knock that ugly a** look off your freakin' face, Anna thought to herself.  However, it went against everything she stood for in regards to the purpose of martial arts, so she would do nothing to harm Ms. Maia unless it was in self-defense.  Anna was doing her best to calm down, for she felt terrible in the times she would become temperamental, but she knew she would be out of luck until she could get somewhere and either vent or utilize a positive release.  A major reason she dreaded confrontations was that she knew she was very strong for her size, and in times of self-defense, was even stronger.  This made her a powerful and dangerous force to be reckoned with in smackdowns.

Grandpa Longneck was walking to the meeting place, nearly there, walking at his usual pace.  Petrie landed on Grandpa Longneck.

"Me no find Littlefoot." Petrie said, not mentioning his uncle since he knew most didn't like him.

"Well I expect he'll be along before to long." Grandpa Longneck said.

Mim had arrived at the meeting place earlier and went to the place she usually sat at, waiting to see what silliness would happen next.

Flapper flew behind some flyers and landed a bit away from them, hidden by some bushes and trees since he new he's land badly.  He got up and brushed himself off, not to badly brused, just very minor ones.  He then followed some of the other flyers to the meeting place.
