Pterano and Amy were over some mountains, looking for a place to rest for a bit.
"Is everything okay Amy?" The orange colored flyer gave a puzzled expression at the siamese patterned flyer.
"Yeah, I'm fine," She looked down at her feet to be sure she had some balance and would not slip. Her tone was muttered in a way that made Pterano not convinced that she was okay, but he did not say anything and continued flying overhead.
As they were looking for a place, Amy thought over her decision to leave the valley and how much she was willing to sacrifice to leave the people she knew and loved.
Is this really worth sacrificing? What in the world am I going to do if Red Claw tries to attack them again? But maybe if I do something to distract him...he’ll leave them alone. The smart thing to do would be to find a way out of this world and live the remainder of this world the best way I can. But the bold thing would be to have Red Claw hunting after me...so no one else gets hurt.
Amy halted for a moment and Pterano almost didn’t see her stop, so he stopped in mid air and tried to get to her level.
“Amy?” He asked. After a brief pause, Amy shook her head and stated, “Pterano, I’m just wondering...”
She trailed off, wondering if it would be wise to tell her thoughts to him. Finally she decided to change immediately what she was going to say.
“How far off are we from shelter. I’m smelling the air and it’s a little moist.”
Pterano nodded in agreement, “Yes you’re right, it’s rather moist around these parts, well luckily we aren’t too far off, just a few more wing lengths and we will be there.”
He flew overhead again and Amy, with her new improved eye sight watched up float up. She thought it was fascinating, as humans are as smart as they claim to be, they still did not know how certain birds flew. What fascinated her even more was that a prehistoric reptile right in front of her was flying and she, a descendant of these primitive species, could witness it and try it for herself. She still pondered over the situation however, if Red Claw didn’t know she left, it would be likely that he would strike again in the valley.

Red Claw was thinking quick, trying to see what they could do to distract the Great Valley residents. He growled to Thud, shoved him forward and muttered, “Go! Distract them while you can.”

Mr. Three Horn froze, feeling a very eerie chill up his spine. He also sniffed the air and sighed. If things weren’t bad enough, sky water was going to splash upon them. He however, felt something else astir.
Rebecca noticed Mr. Three Horn's halt and flew over to him, "What is it?"
