Charlie followed Anne as they entered the hole to the underground. Tank held the rear of the pack...

Meanwhile, Blight had tracked Anne with his orb and watched as the dogs began their descent into the depths. "So they decide to take the fight to the enemy," he said as he flexed his claws. "Apparently, I wasn't convincing enough to make sure they stay away from our plans. And so, I step up the game..."

"Here we go," Itchy said, taking a deep breath.

"Stay close," Anne advised, the hellhound swooping down. Bess, the 2nd best with her bat-like wings, was right behind her.

Linda & Hawk left David's house back to their own home. There was a lot to think about what happened today...

Charlie remained quiet. He was down here before, and he didn't like it one bit...

With the orb still revealing Belladonna's cave, Blight turned and went to a nearby closet to fiddle through the pile of junk for something Red had left behind. It was stupid of Red not to make use of such valuable items...

"Well, that's to be expected," Anne said to the group, "Although in those forms you'll be able to withstand the heat."

As the group passed through the hole, they eventually made it to the made central part of Hell. "Freakin creepy..." Bess gulped watching from above.

Itchy got a look at some of the dogs down here, both hellhounds doing their jobs and evil souls that had been sentenced to this punishment.

"Hey Julie!" Anne waved breifly to one of her friend hellhounds.

meanwhile sasha tried to stay calm, but the vision of seeing condemned souls being brutally punished was nauseating, at the least. lwets get this over with.. she muttered to charlie.

Charlie only nodded to what Sasha said. "So how do you think Annabelle's doing down here with her cousin so far? he asked Anne. "She is the polar opposite of Belladonna, of course."

Blight soon found what he was looking for. He pulls out a dark but ornate urn from the closet. "This place should've been more organized," he said darkly, but grinned anyway...

"Knowing my daughter, I'm confident she can stand her own. With hell powers now and since you've seen how she can get when she's angry, I'm confident she can defend herself," Anne explained to Charlie.

She then turned to the transformed Sasha. "Eh, I live down here," Anne replied to the former Irish setter, "the temperature is nice, and we cook a "hell" of a good steak," she added with a laugh, another lame pun. "And my daughter has one of the collars to. Even Belladonna wouldn't see through that immediately."

Anne slowly descended and landed on the path.

"It'd be best if we divided into two groups," the hellhound mother advised. "Charlie, Sasha, and I will make up the first team. Your small friend there, Bess, and Tank, you'l be the second team."

"I'm not small, this is the normal height for a dog like me...in hell form," Itchy retorted.

"Relax," Tank replied. "I've met some small breeds that could give a mastiff a run for his money..."

"Just don't say anything that will have us exposed, OK?" Charlie said in a low voice. Even if we have at least one hellhound on our side, it doesn't mean the others are..."

"Don't worry," Anne assured sincerely, "Belladonna's actually in the minority here with how she acts. Most of us just like to torture evil souls. It's fun.."

Itchy shivered at the end of that comment. "You're right Tank," he replied thankfully.

"Belladonna's been a spoiled brat all her live," Anne told her comrades, "And to think I was descent enough to wipe out the dinosaurs for her 250th birthday because she thought they were ugly while she was a pup..."
