Haru blushed brightly as Thunderclap embraced him, softly hugging him back with a gentle nuzzle. As he did, a soft, cheerful chuckle came from the front door of the barn.

"Aww, looks like I'm a little late for the party. Did I miss out on some sorta lovefest or something?"

Joked a cheerful voice, as a sky-blue unicorn with deep blue hair and eyes stepped into the room, dressed in the uniform of a royal guard...

"Oh, yea, that's the theme of this party, come on in." Spike said, not being to serious as he waved the newcomer in.

Myrdinn, not having anything to say, for now, worked on his drink and snack.

Twilight looked up as the newcomer spoke but then noticed the absence of two other ponies. She turned and asked, "Daliya and Forest Grove, are you two alright? You've been pretty quiet since the end of their stories."

Thunderclap smiled as he let go of Haru. The pegasus then slapped Haru's face aside as he replied, "I may be able to express my feelings better now, but I'm still kind of a jerk!" He then looked at his sister with a stern glare.

Rainrunner stood and met her brother eye-to-eye and realized, that the glare was.... playful. Almost like he was playing a trick on her. She then giggled as she hugged Thunderclap. "I'm glad... you've forgiven me... you have forgiven me right?" she asked gently.

Thunderclap in response to his sister simply nodded his head. "yes, I have." He then took the time to turn his head to the newcomer and asked, "You wouldn't happen to be related to anypony here would you?"

Haru giggled a little.
"I wouldn't have it any other way, Thunderclap."
He teased, then looked over to the door.
"J-Jin! You're here! Didn't know anyone had invited you!"
He said, surprised. The pony in the door bowed a little theatrically, smiling and brushing a stray strand of his mane out of his face.
"As a matter of fact, I am. I just so happen to be related to the one you were just hugging."
He chuckled, then added with a grin to the rest of the party.
"I'm Jin, captain of the Royal Guard's second division, and Haru's older brother."
He said, looking around at the rest of the partygoers...

Jin smiled as he walked in.
"Well, then it looks like I'm just in time. Congratulations, by the way. Oh, and as to why I'm out here, Princess Celestia got an invitation from Pinkie Pie, and, since she said she couldn't make it, sent me. Plus, my baby brother's here. Anyways, let's play some games, hm~?"
He said, walking around and taking a look at the games that were available...

Spike waved, "Hey Jin, how are things at the castle & Princess Luna?" Spike asked, having finished eating for how.

"What sorts of games?" He asked. "I bet Pinkie Pie made sure this party would have a lot of games." He said.

Myrdinn paused in his drinking to use his magic to pull out a book from one of his saddlebags. He had heard the name of Luna before and wanted to look it up on one of his books that had some stuff he had copied from one of the older books his family kept. He had to use some extra magic to read since the writing was very very tiny. To small to read with the naked eye. An idea one of his ancestors had. If you used magic to write and kept the writing very tiny you could save a lot of paper and using magic to be able to read the very tiny writing was a simple spell taught to all of his family since then, as well as how to write very very tiny indeed, another simple spell.

Thunderclap grinned but gave an unimpressed huff as he stepped closer to Jin. "So... a captain of the Princess' royal guard huh? While I could understand Princess Celestia not being able to make it... why would you take her place, and more importantly HOW would you have known your little brother Haru would be here?"

Twilight's eyes however shrank to pinpoints for a moment before she turned to Pinkie Pie, with her left eye twitching as she asked, "Why in the name of Canterlot didn't you mention you were going to invite Princess Celestia?! I know throwing parties is your specialty Pinkie... but seriously to know before anypony else that the Celestia would be coming would require at least a weeks worth of preparations!"

Rainrunner giggled at Twilights outburst.
"Oh relax a little Twilight. It seems the princess couldn't make the party anyway so let's just enjoy the party!" she said merrily as she took another bite of cake.

Jin chuckled.
"Actually, I wasn't sent in her stead. And as to how I knew Haru would be here is because he's practically Applejack's sibling, so I figured he'd be here."
He said brightly, as a soft knock on the door cut him off.
"Um...Hello, everypony..."
Came a soft voice, as Princess Luna poked her head shyly around the door...

Daliya nodded to Twilight when she asked if she was alright.

"Heh, sorry, yeah, I'm fine," she answered.

She turned and saw Jin walk in and nodded a quick hello to him. Then, she was a bit auprised when she saw Princess Luna walk right in the door.

It was sheer reflex action when both Thunderclap and Rainrunner bowed to Princess Luna. "Princess you honor us with your presence." commented Rainrunner with absolute clarity to her voice.

Thunderclap then asked, "Princess Luna, if I may ask... why are you here. Certainly there are other duties or parties you could be attending."

Twilight also bowed to Luna as well, but kept her smile. "it is wonderful to see you again Luna. How have things been for you?" she asked gently.

Spike ran over closer to Princess Luna. "Hey Princess Luna? How you doing? Want a muffin?" He asked, holding out a muffin from the snack table that he had not yet eaten or started in, having finished the other muffins he had already eaten. It's not one of Pinkies extra tasty muffins, but they still taste great." Spike said. By extra tasty muffins he meant the ones from the episode that made the ponies that ate them very sick, but Spike dug out of the trash at the end of the episode and found great tasting.
The muffin he has, as mentioned, is one from the snack table area, if they have any muffins there.

Myrdinn looked up at the entrance. He looked from his book to Princess Luna, comparing the two and seeing they were a match. He closed and put away his book, surprised that someone of her standing was here. Assuming she had the same standing as when the information in his book that the had copied from the original ancient book written by his ancestor.

"Oh, I really don't have that much to do. Besides, Celly thought it'd be good for me to get out and interact with normal ponies. And what better place then with the ponies who saved me?"
She giggled, taking the muffin from Spike with a smile.
"Thank you, Spike. I'm doing well. What about you?"
She answered pleasently...

"I'm doing great. Being here with Twilight Sparke is great as are the group. Great idea Princess Celstria had there." Spike said. Spike turned to Dash, "Are you kidding, Luna here came here just cause everyone has heard how great Pinkie's Parties are, and how great the cakes and muffins are that she and Mr & Mrs cake make." He said. "Though they would taste better if they put some gems in them, or powdered gems."

Myrdinn looked at Luna from where he was. Noting she did look like her picture in his book he had put away and noting some notations done in the book by the same ancestor who had gone to see the 2 of them and made some notes that they didn't seem to be ponies and noting certain proportion differences. He wondered if Princess Celestria had the same sort of proportions.

She said, then smiled at Twilight.
"Oh, by the way, Twilight, my sister sends her warmest regards, and she hopes that you and your friends can come to Canterlot to spend some time with her soon."
She said with a knowing smile. Jin chuckled softly.
"She said that I can invite my brother and any friends he has, too."

"I bet it'll be like last time. I heard what happened last time the group was in Canterlot. It was the talk of the place for weeks if not months. I'll be spending my time at Pony Joe's like last time. I do hope he has some donuts with extra sprinkles next time." Spike said.

Twilight grinned at the prospect of visiting Canterlot again. "I'll be sure to take you and your sister up on that offer Princess Luna." commented Twilight. She then turned her attention to her assistant. "And don't worry Spike when we go this time, it won't be so formal. This time we will be able to just hang out and show everypony else the sights like you wanted." she said while gently nuzzling the baby dragon.

Rainrunner flapped her wings rapidly with joy. "Oh my goodness!!! A chance to actually visit Canterlot! YAY!!!!" she squealed as she flew into the air, beginning to preform areal acrobatics all too happy to hear about their now confirmed visit to the capital of Equestria.

Thunderclap however showed all the enthusiasm of a rock. "Yeah great. I suppose I'd have to go however." he gave a sigh as he stepped back over to Haru and bobbed him on the shoulder with his hoof. "After all.. someone has to watch over ya. Might as well be me." he said with a roll of his eyes, but a genuine smile on his face.

Luna nodded.
"Twilight's correct. This time, there won't be any stuffy parties or anything to attend to. I think she actually really wants to spend time with you. And I can honestly see why, too."
She said with a small blush on her face, as Jin chuckled.
"Yeah, not only will you get to see Canterlot, but you'll actually be staying there in style, if you decide to. Celestia actually had us clean out the guest rooms of the palace, especially for you all."
He said, grinning at the group, then, remembering something, turned to Dash and Twilight.
"Oh, and I think you two will be...a little surprised when you get there. Specifically when you meet the rest of the Second Royal Guard division. Let's just say that a couple of...old acquaintances of yours came by a while ago and signed on with us."
He said cryptically. Haru, on the other hoof, just chuckled and smiled at Thunderclap.
"You, have to watch over me? W-well, I guess that may be true, but I'll be watching out for you, too."
He said, blushing a little...

"I hope things will go better this time, compared to the grand gala." Spike said. "There's a lot of cool places in Canterlot I wanted to show all of you ." he said looking happier and at the others present. "Maybe Luna could give us a tour of the castle too."
