The passage downwards was a gentle downwards sloping ramp. They were dark but he buggy's headlights combined with Stripetail's staff and the spotlight easily ensured that their way downwards clearly lit.
Captain Carson frowned. "Do you think we could be walking into a trap?"
Mr. Bigmouth was looking at his tricorder (loaned to him by Jason). "The planes' transponder signals are coming from below us. However, it seems that magical interference is making it difficult to determine exactly where."

Dr. Zanasiu's group was confronted with a metal blast door. Drobot's laser volley harmlessly splashed against it. His spinning discs simply lodged themselves in the metal.
"Well, let's see if those test results hold up!" Dr. Zanasiu leapt out of the dune buggy and gave the door a hard kick. Thanks to the intense magic, his strength and durability was enhanced so much that he left a sizable dent in the door. He then turned to Nani. "Since you're a Human like me, your strength should also be enhanced."
Ms. Swimmer simply watched open-mouthed as the scientist left dents in the solid steel door with little more than his feet.
The machine gunner, a lean Iguana, was immune to the magic so all he could do was watch.
Deimos simply scanned for threats.
