The Way, starring Martin Sheen.
A great film about a father who loses his son (death) on the Camino de Santiago Compestela (Way of St. James) and decides to sprinkle his ashes all along the path from France through Spain. Along the way he meets friends, all who are going through tough times.
WARNING!: There mature themes like one character is getting over being beaten by her husband and an abortion, some drug use, drinking alcohol, and a religious flagellation procession. Not suitable for kids.
But a great film that explores loss, redemption, accepting who you are, how encounters with people can change you and more.
