It's actually a Matoran, the 'average residents' of the Bionicle world, so to speak. The one I chose for my avatar is actually Takua (one of my favorite Bionicle characters) as seen in the first Bionicle movie. You will notice there is a very noticeable difference in the characters' appearances between the sets and the movies.
