The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I tend to yell/curse at my computer a LOT.
I only do that either if the computer's moving too slowly or if I come across a LBT hatefic.

I have more of a tendency to yell and curse at traffic, especially when someone's doin' a stupid thing like driving under the speed limit in the fast lane :bang.

I hate adds about Teens and acne. Why can't society leave me and my generation alone? :bang It's NORMAL to have acne, but these advertisments make it such a big deal...

I have unusual musical tastes... rap music and classical... two music forms that are very, very different, yet I like them both.

(Wow...I haven't posted in this thread in over two weeks. That's gotta be a record for me...)

I have a habit of making lists of things (usually relating to movies, TV shows, books, etc.) for no real reason. For instance, I've made lists for every movie and TV episode of The Land Before Time, of the species of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals that appear in each. (For obvious reasons, Apatosaurus, Saurolophus, and Pteranodon are in every list, and Triceratops and Stegosaurus are in all but one.)

This also happens to be my 500th GOF post. :wow

I do that too!
I usually just list things in alphabetical or chronological order. Once, though, I made a type frequency list for the first three generations of Pokemon, including a second list that cross-referenced for dual types :lol

I may have what is known as mirror-touch synesthesia.  That is when a person feels the pain of a person they witness have pain inflicted upon them.  This could be in person, film, a book, etc. and can only happen if the person affected feels empathy for the injured person/character.  It can also happen if the person mentally recalls the injury/pain.  Sometimes, if the injury causes numbness, I feel that too .  It's really, really weird...

I have very dark brown eyes but there is a thin, dark blue-grey corona around my irises.

I'm the only child in my family with brown eyes, as well as the only one who's always had dark hair. (I take after my father in both respects.) While all three of my siblings (whose eyes are bluish, greenish, and/or grayish in color) started out with blond hairówhich, for all of them, has since darkened or is in the process of darkeningómy hair was originally auburn, though it too has browned out over the years. My facial hair still has a reddish tinge to it.

My eyes are green, hazel in fact. My grandmother had the same sort of eyes... not exactly the same, but very close...

Whenever I need to remember something, I have a method that (so far) surprisingly works. Since my room is so neat and organized, I move one item significantly enough that I'll notice it. Then later on, when I notice the moved item, I wonder why I moved it, then I remember what I wanted to remember. Yes, this method does seem rather odd, but it has actually worked for me many times already.
