Members Meeting the Characters

Since we're almost nearing the end of this stage in the RP and will soon reach the next morning, I'm wondering if there are any plans for what will happen next. I've got a few ideas, but I'll wait and see if anyone else has their own.

Personally I think it might be a good idea to wait for the new players to integrate themselves into the RP, and see what develops from there.

Also, as I recall, LBTFan13 had the idea for a subplot involving the valleyers' reaction to his character becoming a fast biter.

There's also the storyline of Chronicler and Myrkin's characters finding a cure for Claw's poisoning, and Sierra and Rinkus's presence in the valley. (Although, since Myrkin doesn't post very often, it might be difficult to give Sierra and Rinkus a central role in the RP.)

While I haven't been very good at posting regularly in the RP, I wouldn't mind doing something with Ozzy and Strut as well. (I thought it might be fun if Rinkus and Sierra roped them into helping them with whatever they have planned, but again there's the problem I mentioned before of Myrkin's GOF activity.)

My idea was to have the herd react adversely towards Rob's change in body. I was suggesting that Mr. Threehorn try to kick Rob out of the valley, but maybe somebody like Grandpa Longneck or Pterano convince him otherwise, in which he would then have Rob isolated from the herd, possibly under guard by some of the grown-ups. Littlefoot and his friends as well as the rest of the newcommers would then have to sneak in to see Rob and prove that he is not a threat to the valley.

Maybe an are with a lake, pond, or river so he can eat some fish, as one type of food he can eat.

I just took notice of this and the RP itself and it sounds like fun! Mind if I join the RP too with some of my OCs and my dinosona? I'll be willing to play the Giganotosaurus from the fifth movie and the Spinosaurus from the 12th movie if they haven't already been taken from your list of unused characters....

@Rob: Actually, Mr. Three Horn already saw you Rob very early in your transformation in the rp when Anna was talking to you. I just made him not concerned because of Anna speaking with you. It's like...he has seen and heard so many unbelievable stories already when the members came, so now he's just literally throwing his "arms" up in the air and basically saying "I give!"

So I'm planning for him to be more on your side rather then on the others.

Unless you want me to edit what I said in the rp so we can go along with your plan, that's fine too.

Yeah...when IS Claw coming back? I have Petrie's mom on the search for him, but I don't know what Mrykin's plans are and I don't to control anyone's characters at this point. :-/

@FBS: Yeah, you can join, and you can use those characters, as far as I know, no one is using them.

I do want to know though...the people that wanted to join like what...a few months ago, are they still going to play? I think when they're ready they can just come in now. I don't want to get so picky about the time of them coming in. Whether we're asleep or not, it doesn't really matter.

As far as other plans, feel free to post them here and I can overlook them and see how we can incorporate them.

Just so you both know, I don't think you're required to play any characters besides yourself unless you want to, since most of the major LBT characters are already being played. I'm pretty sure Amy would like a list of the OCs you'll be playing, though, FBS. And also what species both of your dinosonas will be.

I've been wondering about that too. :unsure: I do remember that Blitz told me that he wanted to introduce his character in the daytime, and he was still interested in participating when I asked him in early November. As for Redtooth101, he's apparently still hanging around the GOF, but I've noticed that he hasn't been as active lately. I'm still going to try to get my characters to sleep in the next post or two, so that we can move to morning as soon as possible.

So, does this mean I can join? Well, if I can, I'm going to be a longneck, more likely an Apatasuarus (like Littlefoot or Ali) and I'm going to be colored like Ali, only with brown eyes. And as for my personality...I'll make that up as I go along. So I don't have to play any of the characters that weren't picked? Hmmm, I'll see to that as I go along as well. I don't know if I want to or not. Probably not because I'm not that good at roleplaying, this'll be my first one. If I'm in that is. Thanks for the information Pangaea.

No problem.

Since creating a dinosona is basically just giving yourself a dinosaur form, the simplest way to go as far as developing a personality is to just use your own.

My personal approach has always been to act as I'd imagine I would in whatever situation the RP puts me in.

I'm typing up my Dinosona to post on the appropriate thread Rat_lady7 provided and I'm working on a drawing. OC-wise, Serena can make an appearance, as can my OC gang!

I have the same questions! Am I allowed to just get warped randomly into the LBT world right in the middle of the crowd? Randomness is probably a good way to introduce myself!

To answer your questions, when we started this RP we all kind of posted out how we were warped to the Great Valley. I don't think you necessarily have to do that though. You could just post that you woke up in the Great Valley or something along those lines.

At this point in the RP, the majority of the characters are returning to the Great Valley after a large fight and rescuing Pangaea from Red Claw and his fast biters. Most are going to sleep, but others are still up and about.

That should hopefully bring you up to snuff of the basis of what's happened recently. If you would like to know what has happened since the beginning of the RP, I'm sure somebody here would be willing to provide that.

I hope this helps you guys! We'd be more than happy to have you RP with us.

I kept it simple and had my character just wake up in the great valley. If he was warped or whatever it was while he was deeply asleep. So that is one simple way of getting there.

Maybe someone can give a summary of what happened. I was going to read the RP in its entirety, but then I saw it had more than 90 pages

He is in fastbiter form now, isn't he? I'm not sure if Valleyers have much reason to distrust Rob more than Claw or Chomper. They've seemed to be pretty fine with them.

What if Petrie's mom and Chomper found the chasm Claw had fell into and after some more searching they eventually find him lying unconsciously at the edge of the river? Then they all could go back to the Valley. Maybe Claw could be hurt in some way by the fall. I don't know... What would you say to some memory losing? Or would it be a bit too clichÈ?
