The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Seeing that most of people had left, Claw wanted to do the same, but then he remembered that Chomper might come to the ex-gap in the Great Wall, looking for him. Should Claw wait here or go to the Chomper's and Ruby's cave? If he do the former he will get soaked and who knows how long he will have to stay on the rain? After a moment of thinking fastbiter decided to return to the cave. If Chomper comes to the this big pile off rocks and sees that nobody is here, then he will probably come home. Besides... There was no danger in the Valley now, so Claw didn't have to worry if something bad might happen to Chomper...

He was walking through the forest, Sky Water still falling on him and occasionally there was a lighting or two brightening the sky... Then, suddenly, he heard some thud nearby. It came from a thicket and seconds later Claw could hear a groan:

"Oww... Another perfect landing... I think I broke a nail... Oh, well. It could have been worse..."

"And it will be, if you don't get off MY back in instant!" another voice said threateningly. The first voice responded with some unintelligible grunts.

"Hello? Who goes there?" Claw asked outloud. At that moment all noises were ceased and all fastbiter could hear now (except of the raining water) was a silence...

Amy smiled uneasily and wondered whether or not she should let the older flyer go to get the wet twigs out in the cold. So she shook her head and said, "No, it's fine I'll go get them myself." She got herself up and walked through the rain to find more twigs and wood to use. She carried some of them in her arms and came back in.

She scrapped the water off them and put them not to close to the fire, but wanted the wet twigs to thaw out.

She sat in the cave, looking into the fire, enchanted by the flames dancing about. She thought over what else she could say to the flyer. Being a normally shy and quiet person face to face, she struggled for spontaneous communication with others.

"Mr. Threehorn's right," Anna agreed.  "Let's get out of this mess before any of us get sick."

"I do not care if you are weird or not, no no no.  I think you are very nice.  Anna told me she is weird herself, but she is a nice friend, yes she is.  Just like her, you are nice, and anyone who is nice is a friend of mine, yep yep yep," Ducky said in response to Pangaea's last comment before Anna got her attention.  She looked to see Anna and Cera were following Mr. Threehorn, and Mr. Threehorn was carrying Tricia.  Ducky returned her attention to Pangaea.

"Come with us, Pangaea," Ducky said as she gently took Pangaea by a wing.  "We are going someplace warm and dry, yep yep yep."

"Here, you should be close to the fire since you got wet again." He said, thinking to bad there wasn't a blanket or a few towels or something around.  "Once those are dry enough we can add them to the fire." he said.

Claw came closer to the source of sounds he had heard before, walking through bushes. He arrived at small clearing, where one, pink flyer was sitting calmly, but when he noticed a fastbiter he trembled with shock and screamed:

"Sharptooth!"

"Calm down. I am not going to hurt you." Claw said reasuringly, trying to remember where he saw that flyer before, as he looked quite familiar to him. Fastbiter's words didn't cause flyer to become much at ease, but at least some of his fear was replaced by astonishment and curiosity. Perhaps he hadn't seen before a sharptooth, who could talk in flattooth.

Then, Claw realized one thing: the flyer was alone, which was suspicious, since fastbiter had heard two voices earlier and not one. He was going to ask about it, when something made a sudden and painful contact with his head. In result, he blacked out...

------------

After he left Claw, Chomper had warned a few adults off Redclaw invading again, but then he heard from some flyer passing by (who obviously had seen all that had happened by gap in the Great Wall), that the mean sharptooth was burried under the pile of rocks. Chomper figured out then, that Ruby, Chronicler and Claw will return to their cave, especially since the Sky Water had started raining fro the sky. Therefore, Chomper decide to come home too.

As he came inside the cave, he saw that there was Ruby and Chronicler.

"Ruby, Chronicler! I am happy that you are alright!" Chomper exclaimed, running to them, but he stopped in his tracks as he noticed something "Where is Claw?"

“Thank you, Ducky,” Pangaea said, in response to Ducky’s comment on him being nice, “You’re awfully nice yourself.”

With Ducky leading him by the wing, Pangaea followed the others towards the cave. He hadn’t particularly minded the rain himselfóhis feathers seemed to be fairly waterproof, and the water wasn’t obscuring his vision as much as it would had he been human and wearing his glassesóbut he was starting to get a little cold. I hope Guido found some shelter, he thought.

Amy chuckled, "Yeah, okay." She smiled uneasily still and tried to pick up conversation.

"You're probably going to think I'm crazy, but have you heard about the "GOF"? It's a group I'm part of and I don't know if you heard of it..."
------------
Mr. Three Horn put Tricia down and the cave and nuzzled her.

"You're such a sweet girl." He cooed to her.

"Yes, she is" Tria added, approaching her daughter and her mate. "Did I miss anything, Topsy?" she asked after giving him a brief nuzzle.

Flapper nodded, "I've heard of it, why do you ask?" He said as he put his hands closer to the fire, still keeping his reply a big vague.

Mr. Three Horn paid his attention to his mate and replied, "The hole in the wall was slightly fixed and well...we had a break in from Red Claw and his cronies. We were able to drive him away though. Still...once this rain stops we can fix the wall a bit more. And...two new comers came out of the hole." He aslo muttered, "Stupid newcomers...I swear...if I was there...I would BE SURE they wouldn't go out..."
----------
Little Foot looked to his grandfather a bit frustrated that he would make an obvious statement like "you know Red Claw can't eat the whole valley". He breathed and replied, "I know Grandpa...but that's what happened. What do you think that sleep story mean?"
-------------
Amy felt a bit taken aback by Flapper's tone. She almost did not want to reply, but she stammered..."Well...um...I was just wondering if you were part of it too...that's all...."

"It could mean many things.  That Redclaw endangers the valley.  That he does wish to eat everyone in the Great Valley, if he could.  But what do you think it means Littlefoot?  It was your sleep story." Grandpa Longneck said to Littlefoot.

--

Flapper nodded,  "Yes.   Though the name Flapper fits in better.  Better to try to fit in I think then to stick out, whether this is real and we are here, or it is a dream." Flapper said.

Rick and Longtail had continued talking to each other soon enough forgetting that it was raining at all and after another few minutes Longtail had given in and decided to take a nap on Rick's back. Rick didn't mind however and actually smiled as he watched the flyer sleep. 'I doubt he'll stay on my back for long...he's not too graceful when he's asleep.' thought the Saltasaurus with a grin. However Rick looked up to face the rain and sighed as he whispered to himself, "But how long is this silly rain going to end...I'm getting tired of just sitting here, but I don't want to get Longtail or myself sick."

Just then the decision was made for him as a lightning bolt struck the tree behind him almost lighting his tail on fire.

"AH!" cried Rick as he stood and stepped out into the rain to avoid the falling tree. "Well looks like I have to find another place to keep dry." he said as he started walking through the valley hoping to find a cave or a nest he could stay at until the rain passed.

~~~
Grandma Longneck looked down at Littlefoot and sighed as she nuzzled her grandson. "If the sleep story is worrying you that much Littlefoot perhaps you should talk about it. It might help." she said in a soothing tone.
"What exactly was that last statement supposed to mean?" Anna asked, having heard Mr. Threehorn's muttering.  "I don't recall any of the newcomers bein' stupid."
Screech watched the shameful-looking Red Claw retreat. He then looked at the threehorn carcass, which had barely any meat left on it. It didn’t matter; Screech wasn’t feeling that hungry anyway. He just looked at Thud, and shook his head in frustrated resignation. “What are we going to do about him?” he grumbled, referring to Red Claw, “One day he’s our leader, the next he’s a pathetic wreck.
"I guess I wouldn't need to worry" Belmont thought still fed up with the storm, he could almost wish the could just snap his fingers and the storm would end, then he remembered something "I bet Cera is scared to death" he thought out loud.
Mr. Three Horn was a bit surprised that Anna would hear him, having his eyes widen.
"Um...no one, it was just those two that got out of the valley, I mean my goodness...Red Claw just came in, we were trying to fight to keep the valley safe...and...well...they get out."
-----------
Amy then questioned a bit further. "Well, if you don't mind me asking, what is your username on the GOF. I'm Rat Lady 7 in case you're curious."
Flapper shrugged a bit, "I used the username of Kor on there." He said as he rubbed his hands before he turned around so one of his sides was facing the fire so as much of his body could get warm as possible, instead of just 1 side.
Chronicler had just mentioned the word "Bionicle" when Chomper arrived. When Chomper mentioned that Claw was not here, Chronicler said, "He's probably on his way here. Weather like this sure can slow you down."
"Chronicler is right," said Ruby. "It took us a while to get here, so it will probably take a while for him to get here too. While we are waiting, do you want to hear some stories from Chronicler?"
"I have a right to collect anything I want. It's just junk anyway."
