New story: Preface & Chapter 1

The start of my latest effort.

There's not much there now, but I'll add new stuff as I go.

I'll try and get this done before Christmas.

After that, I have another story in mind which I should start working in in the new year.

Anyway, I've recently joined fanfiction.net, (my name there is Chronicler of the Great Valley) so when I can find the time, I'll give my reviews to this story there.
