The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

(Rat Lady, you need to allow PMs to get through. When I tried to PM you, it said you had turned those settings off, so no one can PM you. )

Here’s what I personally consider to be one of the most unusual and interesting facts about me:

I have always called both of my parents by their first namesóliterally, ALWAYS. Apparently, when I was learning to talk, I would listen to them address each other by name, and assumed that that’s what I was supposed to call them.

My siblings emulated my habit for a while, but since then they have reverted to calling our parents by the customary titles of “Mom” and “Dad”, leaving me alone to continue this strange habit. :P:

EDIT: My 999th post! :wow

My body temperature is quite low (mid 97 to mid 98 is normal).

I naturally have extremely hard and sharp nails.

I like cane sugar over high fructose corn syrup.

I used to call my parents by their first names too. I think all that had to do with was I didn't hear anyone else calling my parents "mom" and "dad", so I called them by their first names. :confused

My vital signs except for respirations tend to run low:

Temperature: 97.3 degrees Fahrenheit

Pulse (resting): 60-65 beats per minute

Blood pressure: average for me is around 100/60

I also apparently have a relatively lower-than-average temperature. (Am I seeing a pattern here?)

I'm not entirely sure about how my nails compare to other people's, but I suspect that they'd get a pretty high hardness and sharpness rating, too. My fingernails also seem to grow very fast; maybe an eighth of an inch per month. (Tell you what: I'll clip them right now, and when February comes along, I'll tell you how much they've grown. :p)

I like Spider-Man the best of all superheros. At least, until they made him make a deal with the devil. Now, unless they retconned that, it really stinks.  <_<

During the family New Year’s celebration last night, I had a small glass of champagne (well, not quite champagne, but a similar, sweeter drink that my parents thought I might like better). Unfortunately, I can scratch it from the list of beverages I’ll be enjoying in the future, as I found the flavor comparable to the gastric acid component of vomit. :x I finished the glass, but quickly switched my New Year’s drink to Sprite. :p

Also, last night, my sister voted me the "least normal-looking" member of the family. :lol

It's been about 7 hours since I uploaded the first chapter of my fanfic on fanfiction.net, and so far it has been viewed ten times (Not counting any views I've made myself). Not a bad start in my opinion. :)

My unfinished and canceled second fanfiction: Quest for the Mask of Life
My currently ongoing fanfiction series: LEGO Equestria Girls

I'm a SpongeBob fan.....I love that show, even though they are showing repeats, it's just so random and what not, especially with SpongeBob and Patrick ^^

Mr. Krabs: And take that pile of filth out with you *shows Squidward holding up a bag of garbage*
SpongeBob: *gasps* Mr. Krabs, you shouldn't talk about Squidward like that!

I used to like Nickelodeon, back during the "golden days" of the 1990s and early 2000s. Doug, All That, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Keenan and Kel, and a few other shows were the best!
